Note 6: We definitely plan to go back and try this company's older products. Note 4: The achievements in the game all come naturally from play and, for once, don't make one resign to degenerate game play were one an achievement-hound. Note 3: I had to use an external screenshot utility I didn't find an in-game screenshot key, and Windows' Print Screen didn't capture the game window. Lovecraft sees fit to burn his research to the ground, setting a number of ungodly beasts and nightmare creatures upon him. Fresh off his supporting role in PlayStation’s The Order 1886, his story begins when fellow historic icon H.P. Additional players have to use controller. Believe it or not, in Tesla vs Lovecraft you play as the celebrated inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla. Note 2: Works fine with one player on keyboard+mouse. ![]() (You can afford a few on the 1st difficulty.) The "daily" quest (loaded from the Internet I guess?) is extra, about equivalent to 2 levels on the 3rd difficulty in reward. They're global, persistent power-ups.) Once you get to the 2nd difficulty they come at a good pace, and pretty rapidly at the 3rd. (These are things like "start level with an extra perk" or "always have 10% more health". Just playing through naturally, with very few repeats, we got a great deal of the power-up unlocks. Note 1: The one review mentions need to grind to get all the "unlocks". Well, there was one level that I think we only got because of a random perk we got, but, it also could have been practice for that level, since we had already lost it 5 times we started selecting different perks and adjusting routes.Äifferent levels did require different tactics and favor different weapons/perk choices depending on the foes on that stage or (to a much lesser extent) the map layout. The difficulty was perfect for us: enough to keep us on our toes and kept up with the increase in power as we went, but not so bad we ever felt totally frustrated. Totally worth it! A couple levels got so absurd with power-ups that we literally couldn't see where we were unless we stopped shooting. My husband and I played through it this weekend co-op, the 3 difficulties, and had a great time.
